Pandanus Resort with Spa Mui Ne Vietnam

To reach Mui Ne from Ho Chi Minh City you have three options really. 1) A taxi all the way, this will take about 3 1/2 hours and cost in the region of $85 to $100 that may include a further $5 to take the quicker toil road. 2) A Coach that will take quite a bit longer, but cost a lot less about $10 you can pick up a ticket in the main back packing area of Saigon and they will direct you to the pick up spot. There are plenty of buses running. 3) By train, you need to be aware that the nearest stop for Mui Ne is Binh Thuan and that a taxi from there to Mui Ne is approx $30. My advice is to get transport from your hotel to pick you up. You will probably get a better driver, you can be sure that the driver knows where to go, and the price is fixed and included in your Hotel bill. If you can get it for around $30 then it is definitely worth doing. The train takes 3 1/2 hours and so its probably the most comfortable option as long as you are aware of the distance to Mui Ne once you arrive, the train is excellent value at around $10 for a soft seat. Note that Mui Ne is approx half way to Nha Trang from Saigon.

Pandanus Resort in Mui Ne is at the time of writing 2 of 17 Hotels on Tripadvisor the standard is very high here. It is a beautiful place with a great beach, very relaxing, good weather and tempeatures. It is in a stunning location overlooking the South China Sea. The Hotel has 4 ranges of rooms starting at about $60 up to $110 (£70) a night. The most expensive is a Bungalow seen in the picture so that is very good value indeed. You can check all the rooms available on Booking.com

The Hotel manager holds a free cheese and wine gathering in the late afternoon, that is very popular with the guests for obvious reason but it is a nice touch. In the evening there is a local band that plays some music. The restaurant gets fantastic reviews and the breakfast also receives lots of excellent comments. I don't think you can possibly go wrong with the food here. There is a large swimming pool with plenty of sun beds. A hot tub area as well. There is a floodlit tennis court and also a gym. There is a Spa with Sauna and Steam room of course you can treat yourself to additional services that they have on offer here. Remember of course this resort is on the beach and swimming in the sea is really good here.

There is also a 24 hour blue lagoon cafe restaurant which has drinks and snacks that are always available. This is one of the largest complexes in Mui Ne and is outstanding value there are plenty of places to walk and there are also free bicycles that you can sign out.

Its all here, it is the place to relax and enjoy, the sunshine, sea and great food. This is certainly a great location to recharge all your batteries and just really unwind.

Sum up transport choices and costs, this is only a rough guide, different companies and hotels will always charge slightly different but they are ball park figures that might be able to help you make up your mind.
